New Pricing and Deployment Models for Protection! Licensing Server.
New York, NY — (September 27, 2007) — jProductivity, L.L.C. has announced new pricing schedules and deployment models for its Protection! Licensing Server, providing customers with more flexibility in how they deploy, license, manage and maintain their technology.
The Protection! Licensing Server deployment model has been changed to make it easier for Protection! customers to take advantage of their deployment and licensing strategies in developing solutions for their customers.
Protection! Licensing Server introduces two distinct deployment models: "Unlimited Distribution" and "Unlimited Products/Sessions". Each of these deployment models depends on how the developer/publisher is planning to deploy its product(s) to work with the Protection! Licensing Server.
These deployment and licensing models offer cost-effective solutions to help ensure the security and high availability of an organization's licensing requirements. Customers can either choose the most appropriate model for a specific deployment and licensing strategy or mix both models to achieve much greater flexibility, control, and easier deployment across servers.
"Unlimited Products/Sessions" Model: $3,750 per CPU (up-to 2 cores).
Protection! Licensing Server is royalty-free and priced per single deployment, providing support for an unlimited number of hosted products and an unlimited number of license sessions. With the Unlimited Products/Sessions deployment model, Protection! Licensing Server has NO annual fee.
"Unlimited Distribution Model": starting from $5,000 (one product/25 concurrent sessions)
Protection! Licensing Server is royalty-free and priced per year, based on the number of hosted products and the number of license sessions. The Protection! Licensing Server annual license includes support and software upgrades.
The initial purchase of Protection! Licensing Server includes the ability to distribute licenses for only one particular product. If there is a need to support a number of products, then "Additional Product" licenses must be purchased.
The initial purchase of Protection! Licensing Server includes the ability to track concurrent license usage for up to 25 users (license sessions) simultaneously. If there is a need to support a larger number of concurrent users then "Additional Sessions" licenses must be purchased.
"Royalty-free" means that you can deploy as many Licensing Servers to as many of your customers as you want. There are no hidden extra costs, no per-deployment costs, and no per-server licensing.
"Priced per year" means that Licensing Server has an annual fee which is based on the number of products and the number of sessions purchased.
